TEHRAN -- The secretary of headquarters for promoting prayer in Gachsaran said that a congress on prayer will be held in that city next week. Seyed Fazel Rezaee told IRNA that several clerics and cultural figures as well as government officials and students will take part in the congress. Regarding the objective of the congress, Rezaee said that it aims to promote and disseminate the culture of prayer in society.

According to Rezaee, the head of the national headquarters for promoting prayer and other experts will exchange views on ways to promote prayer in society. The two-day congress has been sponsored by the headquarters for promoting prayer in cooperation with Gachsaran's governor's office.
